READ, PRAY, OBEY
We are part of God’s diverse family, creatively carrying on the work of Jesus through the power of the Holy Spirit. Each of us is called to a path of discipleship, where the Holy Spirit transforms us to be like Jesus and to do the work that Jesus did.
We believe the life of discipleship can be distilled down to three simple steps: READ, PRAY, and OBEY.
We READ Scripture and PRAY as we discover what God is saying to us individually and as a community made up of people of many languages and cultures. Then we OBEY by following God’s leading. As we take these steps, we grow in faith, hope, love, and unity with God and one another. We become equipped by the Holy Spirit to do God’s work in the world, just as Jesus did.

Released for our 2020 series, Finding My Place In God's Story, this journal was intended to be a place for you to reflect on what you read and hear weekly in church through sermons, Scripture, worship, and prayer. Although we're now in a different season, we invite you to use this journal to take notes on Sunday and reflect during the week on how God's presence and love is shaping you. It's organized around our READ, PRAY, OBEY method of incorporating Scripture into your everyday life.
